Contact WinLegend UK

One address, one route, no forms to chase and no ticket numbers to remember. This page sets out how to reach the editorial desk, what happens to a message once it arrives, and how commercial approaches are handled separately from everything else.

The editorial route

There is a single channel for reaching the editorial desk, and it is an ordinary email address: editor@winlegenduk.uk. Write to it about anything concerning the content of this site, whether that is a factual query about a figure we have published, a suggestion for a topic worth covering, a detail from your own experience of an operator’s terms, or a challenge to a conclusion you think we have got wrong. Every message to that address is read by a person who works on the guides, not by a support agent working from a script.

We aim to reply within three working days. Working days mean Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the United Kingdom, and the clock starts when the message lands rather than when it is first opened. Most replies go out well inside that window, but complex queries, particularly those that require re-checking an operator’s live terms or a regulator’s published material, can take longer because the answer is verified before it is sent rather than drafted in haste. If a reply is going to slip past three working days, we say so in a short holding message rather than leaving the silence to do the talking.

Please include enough context for the query to be answered without a round of follow-up questions. The name of the page you were reading, the passage or figure you are querying, and, where relevant, the operator and the date you checked its terms will let us respond properly first time. Screenshots of terms pages are welcome and often decisive, since terms in this market change frequently and a dated image settles which version was live when.

The address handles editorial correspondence only. It is not a complaints line for operators, it cannot intervene in a dispute between a reader and a casino, and it does not process account closures, withdrawals or bonuses, since the site holds no customer accounts of any kind. If your problem is with a gambling operator, the routes that exist are described on our guides, and free independent help is available from the organisations listed on those pages.

Corrections policy

Mistakes happen, and the measure of a publication is what it does when one is found. Our policy is simple: when a factual error is confirmed on a page, the page is corrected and the correction is recorded on the face of the page itself, with the date it was made. We do not quietly edit figures back to correctness and hope nobody noticed. A reader who saw a wrong number deserves to know that the number changed, when it changed, and why.

What counts as a correction is a factual matter: a wagering multiplier stated wrongly, a helpline number misprinted, a claim about what a licence provides that misreads the source. Matters of judgement, such as which offers deserve a cautious framing, are not corrected by request, though counter-arguments are always welcome and occasionally change our minds through the normal editorial process. Where a correction stems from a source document changing rather than from our own error, the page is updated and dated in the same way, since the reader’s position is identical either way.

If you believe a page carries an error, write to editor@winlegenduk.uk with the subject line beginning “Correction”. That subject line is not a formality; it routes the message straight to whoever maintains the page. We check the claim against its primary source, which for gambling matters is usually the legislation, the regulator’s published register or guidance, or the operator’s own live terms. If the error stands confirmed, the fix goes live with its dated note, usually within two working days of confirmation.

Commercial enquiries

Commercial enquiries are a different stream of correspondence and are kept separate from editorial work. Questions about advertising, sponsored placement or partnership arrangements should go to the same address, editor@winlegenduk.uk, with a subject line beginning “Commercial”, so they can be sorted from reader mail at the point of arrival and handled on their own track. Mixing the two streams is how publications end up with editors answering to advertisers, and this site is structured so that cannot happen.

To be direct about the model: placement on this site is sold, and every such arrangement is disclosed. The full explanation of how the site earns money, what is paid and what is not, and how paid relationships are marked, lives on our How We Are Paid page, which is the reference document for any commercial conversation. Any commercial enquiry will be answered against that disclosed policy, and no arrangement is accepted that the policy would require us to hide, because hiding is not something we do.

What we do not offer, at any price, is editorial cover for commercial arrangements. Paid placement is labelled as paid, recommendations are never for sale, and the analytical conclusions on the guides, including the unfavourable ones, are written by the editorial side and are not negotiable with the commercial side. A partner brand has exactly as much influence over what our pages conclude as any other operator, which is to say none. If that framing makes a proposed arrangement unattractive, we would rather know now than later.

One practical note for anyone writing in either capacity: this is an independent publication, small by design, and it does not carry telephone support, live chat or a postal address, because the work is publishing and the channel for it is email. The single-address approach keeps correspondence on the record and answerable, which suits both the corrections policy above and the disclosure commitments on the payments page.

WinLegend UK — Play the maths, not the hype. Independent guide; how we are paid is disclosed on our How We Are Paid page.
